Miller & Associates partnered with the Village of Alda to design and support construction of a new walking path around the community ballfield, improving accessibility and enhancing recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. The project was developed to provide a defined, well-maintained route that supports both active use and spectator circulation within the ballfield area.
The design includes approximately 1,420 square yards of 6-inch-thick Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) walking path, selected for its durability, low maintenance, and long-term performance. In addition to the primary trail construction, the project incorporates incidental improvements to support usability, safety, and overall site aesthetics.
Miller & Associates prepared construction documents and assisted through the bidding process, with the project recently awarded and construction anticipated to begin in late spring/early summer 2024. Construction services will focus on quality assurance, safety, and environmental compliance to ensure successful project delivery.
Upon completion, the Ballfield Walking Path will provide a safe, accessible, and attractive amenity that enhances the functionality of the ballfield complex and contributes to the Village’s overall quality of life.
