Miller & Associates supported improvements to Memorial Ballfield by expanding the synthetic infield surface to the limits of the existing grass outfield. The project focused on enhancing field durability, playability, and drainage performance while maintaining a seamless transition between playing surfaces.

Our team completed detailed surveying to document existing conditions and guide design development. Subsurface drainage improvements were incorporated to ensure proper water management and long-term field performance. This included extension of the aggregate base and drain tile system to support the expanded synthetic surface.

The infield grading plan was carefully designed to maintain proper slopes and ensure a smooth connection to the existing outfield, including modifications to the outfield taper. The result is a cohesive playing surface that improves field consistency and usability while supporting long-term maintenance and performance goals.
