Many projects that involve state and federal funding require archeology surveys. Some are more basic “pedestrian” surveys while others are more intensive, requiring test sites and/or trenching. Often working with state officials in Nebraska and Kansas, we understand both the sensitivity and importance of each project. With many archeology studies, the focus is on artifacts, yet there is also a connection to the existing surroundings and structures.
